particularly enjoying more natural shoots, the less forced the pose - the better. teresa oman looks beautiful here. in other exciting news, i fly out to marbella tomorrow. i've been most fortunate with the weather in cambridge this week, so i'm pre-tanned and ready to go. woop woop.
most enjoyed this post from Q. project favourite the man repeller last night after sun tanning attempt day 2. mp goes into great insightful detail as to how alaïa shoes really can be sexual yet useful, they really are the business. get reading if you too need to justify any tad expensive shoe purchases (i'm pretty sure you could replace the alaïa shoes for another pair of banging beasts with a few word changes). use the post as a template. i've got a copy in my diary already for any justification emergencies.
have commenced the prep for marbs next saturday, am lugging back any decent summer clothing that has been gathering dust in london back to cambridge. wardrobe wise i am mostly done but accessories wise, i am lusting after these friendship bracelets. with holiday jewellery, i think there is noting nicer than a large stacking of luxe friendship bracelets making their way up my arm.
came across these beautiful photographs last night whilst sitting inside listening to the pouring rain, and so if you too are experiencing a most grey summer, here are some wonderful poppies to brighten up your day <3
hollaaa, yesterday i graduated from london college of fashion. all the university of arts ceremonies are being held at the royal festival hall this week and i was just a tad lucky that, so far, tuesday is the only non-rain day. the fam joined me for the ceremony, with the excitable man-friend arriving for the afternoon. we had celebratory champagne at my flat after (a nice giant bottle of moët nom nom) and then were joined by my wonderful friends in chelsea for dinner. it really was the most lovely day, one i could not have got to without my supporting family & friends and i am most grateful to them. i am now officially a graduate. eek. time to get a job. bigger eek. *edited with a much nicer instagram photo*
totes loving the resurgence of backpacks, which really is most ironic (specifically for my mama) as she used to carry this black leather rucksack around on our family holidays and i really thought it was very awful. and now i really would appreciate stealing the beast off her but as luck would have it, she spilt prawn juice on it and it was quickly dumped. anyway, asos obviously have the best selection, look at all these marvellous bag babies. however i'm still pretty content with my new wang child, especially as she does embody a backpack look to her, but these are pretty banging high street versions.
